Clindamax Lotion

Clindamax Lotion

Apply a thin film of ClindaMax® Lotion (clindamycin phosphate topical suspension USP 1%) twice daily to affected area.

Shake well immediately before using.

Keep in container and keep tightly closed.
Pandel

Pandel

Apply a thin film of Pandel (hydrocortisone probutate cream) Cream, 0.1% to the affected area once or twice a day depending on the severity of the condition. Massage gently until the medication disappears.

Occlusive dressings may be used for the management of refractory lesions of psoriasis and other deep-seated dermatoses, such as localized neurodermatitis (lichen simplex chronicus).

As with other corticosteroids, therapy should be discontinued when control is achieved. If no improvement is seen within 2 weeks, reassessment of the diagnosis may be necessary.

Pandel (hydrocortisone probutate cream) Cream, 0.1% should not be used with occlusive dressings unless directed by the physician. Pandel (hydrocortisone probutate cream) Cream, 0.1% should not be applied in the diaper area, as diapers or plastic pants may constitute occlusive dressings.

ApexiCon® E Cream (diflorasone diacetate cream USP 0.05% [emollient]) should be applied to the affected areas as a thin film from one to three times daily depending on the severity or resistant nature of the condition.

Occlusive dressings may be used for the management of psoriasis or recalcitrant conditions. If an infection develops, the use of occlusive dressings should be discontinued and appropriate antimicrobial therapy initiated.
Zazole

Zazole

One full applicator (5 g) of Zazole® Vaginal Cream 0.8% (40 mg terconazole) should be administered intravaginally once daily at bedtime for three consecutive days. Before prescribing another course of therapy, the diagnosis should be reconfirmed by smears and/or cultures and other pathogens commonly associated with vulvovaginitis ruled out. The therapeutic effect of Zazole® Vaginal Cream 0.8% is not affected by menstruation.

Apply a thin film of ACLOVATE® Cream or Ointment to the affected skin areas 2 or 3 times daily; massage gently until the medication disappears.

ACLOVATE® Cream and Ointment may be used in pediatric patients 1 year of age or older. Safety and effectiveness of ACLOVATE® Cream or Ointment in pediatric patients for more than 3 weeks of use have not been established. Use in pediatric patients under 1 year of age is not recommended.

As with other corticosteroids, therapy should be discontinued when control is achieved. If no improvement is seen within 2 weeks, reassessment of diagnosis may be necessary.

ACLOVATE® Cream or Ointment should not be used with occlusive dressings unless directed by a physician. ACLOVATE® Cream or Ointment should not be applied in the diaper area if the child still requires diapers or plastic pants as these garments may constitute occlusive dressing.

Geriatric Use: In studies where geriatric patients (65 years of age or older, see PRECAUTIONS) have been treated with ACLOVATE® Cream or Ointment, safety did not differ from that in younger patients; therefore, no dosage adjustment is recommended.

Oxistat

OXISTAT® Cream or Lotion should be applied to affected and immediately surrounding areas once to twice daily in patients with tinea pedis, tinea corporis, or tinea cruris. OXISTAT® Cream should be applied once daily in the treatment of tinea (pityriasis) versicolor. Tinea corporis, tinea cruris, and tinea (pityriasis) versicolor should be treated for 2 weeks and tinea pedis for 1 month to reduce the possibility of recurrence. If a patient shows no clinical improvement after the treatment period, the diagnosis should be reviewed.

Note: Tinea (pityriasis) versicolor may give rise to hyperpigmented or hypopigmented patches on the trunk that may extend to the neck, arms, and upper thighs. Treatment of the infection may not immediately result in restoration of pigment to the affected sites. Normalization of pigment following successful therapy is variable and may take months, depending on individual skin type and incidental sun exposure. Although tinea (pityriasis) versicolor is not contagious, it may recur because the organism that causes the disease is part of the normal skin flora.

CUTIVATE® Lotion may be used in adult and pediatric patients 1 year of age or older. The safety and efficacy of CUTIVATE® Lotion in pediatric patients below 1 year of age have not been established (see PRECAUTIONS: Pediatric Use).

Atopic Dermatitis: Apply a thin film of CUTIVATE® Lotion to the affected skin areas once daily. Rub in gently.

As with other corticosteroids, therapy should be discontinued when control is achieved. If no improvement is seen within 2 weeks, reassessment of diagnosis may be necessary. The safety and efficacy of drug use for longer than 4 weeks have not been established.

CUTIVATE® Lotion should not be used with occlusive dressings or applied in the diaper area unless directed by a physician.
