Use Avatec® continuously in the feed to provide from 68 g per ton (0.0075%) to 113 g per ton (0.0125%) lasalocid sodium concentration. The dosage range allows adjustment of drug level to severity of exposure. The higher levels are indicated for severe exposure. Consult a poultry disease diagnostician for advice regarding the optimal level of drug.
Use Avatec® continuously in the feed for rabbits up to 6 1/2 weeks of age to provide 113 g per ton (0.0125%) lasalocid sodium concentration.

Thoroughly mix the following amounts of Avatec® to make one ton of feed to provide from 68 g per ton (0.0075%) to 113 g per ton (0.0125%) lasalocid sodium concentration. When adding less than one pound of premix per ton of feed, it is recommended that the premix first be mixed with a small amount of feed (10-25 lbs.) prior to incorporation into the final feed.Dosage for use intarget species Concentration% in Feed Lasalocidgrams/ton lbs Avatec® per ton feed Broiler, Fryer 0.0075% 68 3/4 Chickens and 0.0100% 90.7 1 Growing Turkeys 0.01125% 102 1 1/8 Broiler, Fryer Chickens, Growing Turkeys, Rabbits, Chukar Partridges 0.0125% 113 1 1/4
Administer at a dose rate of 250 mg of lincomycin per gallon of drinking water. In clinical studies, this dose rate provided an average of 3.8 mg of lincomycin per pound of body weight per day.
This packet will medicate 128 gallons of drinking water providing 250 mg/gallon. A dose of 3.8 mg lincomycin per pound of body weight may be maintained by medicating the drinking water at a concentration of 250 mg per gallon of drinking water when pigs are consuming 1.5 gallons per 100 lbs of body weight per day. Under these circumstances the concentration of lincomycin required in medicated water may be adjusted to compensate for variations in age and weight of animals, the nature and severity of disease symptoms, environmental temperature and humidity, each of which affects water consumption. For use in automatic water proportioners, prepare the stock solution by dissolving 1 packet in 1 gallon of water, then adjust the proportioner to deliver 1 ounce of stock solution per gallon of drinking water.
Administer at a dose rate of 64 mg of lincomycin per gallon of drinking water.
This packet will medicate 500 gallons of drinking water providing 64 mg/gallon.
Administer orally at a dosage of 1,500,000 units of penicillin per gallon (3.8 liters) of drinking water for 5 consecutive days.
