  Always provide Client Information Sheet with prescription. Carefully consider the potential benefits and risk of CarproPlets™ and other treatment options before deciding to use CarproPlets™ . Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with individual response. The recommended dosage for oral administration to dogs is 2 mg/lb (4.4 mg/kg) of body weight daily. The total daily dose may be administered as 2 mg/lb of body weight once daily or divided and administered as 1 mg/lb (2.2 mg/kg) twice daily. For the control of postoperative pain, administer approximately 2 hours before the procedure. Caplets are scored and dosage should be calculated in half-caplet increments.

  Dogs: Eloxiject 5 mg/mL Solution for Injection should be administered initially as a single dose at 0.09 mg/lb (0.2 mg/kg) body weight intravenously (IV) or subcutaneously (SQ), followed, after 24 hours, by meloxicam oral suspension at the daily dose of 0.045 mg/lb (0.1 mg/kg) body weight, either mixed with food or placed directly in the mouth.

  Carefully consider the potential benefits and risk of Eloxiject and other treatment options before deciding to use Eloxiject. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with individual response.

  Cats: Administer a single, one-time subcutaneous dose of Eloxiject™ 5 mg/mL Solution for Injection to cats at a dose of 0.14 mg/lb (0.3 mg/kg) body weight. Use of additional meloxicam or other NSAIDs is contraindicated. (See Contraindications). To ensure accuracy of dosing, the use of a 1 mL graduated syringe is recommended.
