The usual adult dose is one soft gelatin capsule daily with or without food, or as prescribed by a licensed healthcare practitioner. Children under twelve should consult a healthcare practitioner. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Adults and children 12 years of age and older: 1-2 teaspoonfuls (5-10 mL) every 4 to 6 hours, not to exceed 8 teaspoonfuls in 24 hours. Children 6 to under 12 years of age: 1 teaspoonful (5 mL) every 4 to 6 hours, not to exceed 4 teaspoonfuls in 24 hours. DryMax Syrup is not recommended for children under 6 years of age. Note: Geriatric patients may be more sensitive to the effects of the usual adult dose. Adjust adult dose accordingly.

The usual adult dose is 1 or 2 teaspoonfuls of liquid 3 or 4 times a day. In severe cases, dosage may be doubled or tripled if necessary. Maintenance dosage should be adjusted according to patient response. Use in Children: Altough pediatric dosages of dyphylline are established, no firm dosage for a combination of dyphylline and guaifenesin USP can be recommended for children under the age of six. Dosage for children over six may be calculated on the basis of 2 to 3 mg of dyphylline per pound of body weight daily in divided doses.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: The recommended dose is one softgel daily or as directed under medical supervision to achieve a satisfactory folate-maintenance level. Some individuals may require larger doses as determined by a licensed medical practitioner.
EnLyte® is best absorbed when taken on an empty stomach. During times of medication transition, the amount of EnLyte® may be increased as per direction of your licensed medical practitioner in order to achieve a “rescue” effect.
