Hypertonic Saline
Warm to body temperature and administer slowly by intravenous or subcutaneous injection. The amount and rate of administration must be judged by the veterinarian in relation to the condition being treated and the clinical response of the animal, being careful to avoid over hydration.

May be injected intravenously, subcutaneously or intraperitoneally (except in horses) using strict aseptic technique.Cattle and Horses: 2 - 5 mL per pound of body weight depending on size and condition of animal, repeated 1 to 3 times daily or as needed.Swine and Sheep: 2 - 5 mL per pound of body weight depending on size and condition of animal, repeated 1 to 3 times daily or as needed.If administered subcutaneously divide the dosage into several sites of injection and massage points of injection to aid in absorption and help prevent inflammation and/or sloughing.

Vetalyte Plus
Warm solution to body temperature and administer slowly (10 to 30 mL per minute) by intravenous or intraperitoneal injection, using strict aseptic procedures.
Adult Cattle and Horses - 1000 to 2000 mL
Calves, Ponies and Foals - 500 to 1000 mL
Adult Sheep and Swine - 500 to 1000 mL
These are suggested dosages. The actual amount and rate of fluid administration must be judged by the veterinarian in relation to the condition being treated and the clinical response of the animal, being careful to avoid over hydration.

Cattle.......500 mL/500-800 lbs body weight. For intravenous administration only. Solution should be warmed to room temkperature and administered slowly using aseptic precautions, such as using a sterile needle and syringe and disinfecting the site of injection.
