lightheadedness, sweating or dizziness
•
chest pain or shoulder pain with shortness of breath; sweating; pain spreading to arms, neck or shoulders; or lightheadedness
•
frequent chest pain
•
frequent wheezing, particularly with heartburn
•
unexplained weight loss
•
nausea or vomiting
•
stomach pain
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking
•
warfarin, clopidogrel or cilostazol (blood-thinning medicines)
•
prescription antifungal or anti-yeast medicines
•
diazepam (anxiety medicine)
•
digoxin (heart medicine)
•
tacrolimus or mycophenolate mofetil (immune system medicines)
•
prescription antiretrovirals (medicines for HIV infection)
•
methotrexate (arthritis medicine)
Stop use and ask a doctor if
•
your heartburn continues or worsens
•
you need to take this product for more than 14 days
•
you need to take more than 1 course of treatment every 4 months
•
you get diarrhea
If pregnant or breast-feeding,
ask a health professional before use.
Keep out of reach of children.

Apply sufficient quantity to adequately cover all lesions every 3 hours, 6 times per day for 7 days. The dose size per application will vary depending upon the total lesion area but should approximate a one-half inch ribbon of ointment per 4 square inches of surface area. A finger cot or rubber glove should be used when applying acyclovir ointment to prevent autoinoculation of other body sites and transmission of infection to other persons. Therapy should be initiated as early as possible following onset of signs and symptoms.

take with a full glass of water
•
this product can be administered without regard for the timing of meals
•
adults and children 12 years of age and over: one or two tablets every 12 hours. Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours.
